Ingredients
  

Meat Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 400 grams canned tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 100 grams parmesan cheese, grated

  • 400 grams spaghetti

Cooking Steps

  • Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until soft.
  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Serve the sauce over the spaghetti, topped with grated parmesan cheese.

Notes

For a richer flavor, let the sauce simmer longer. Serve with garlic bread for a complete meal.
