Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, mix together the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic, dried basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken and stir the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese into the tomato sauce in the slow cooker. Mix until smooth.
  • Add the chicken back to the slow cooker, spoon the sauce over the chicken, and let it sit for 10-15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  • Serve over pasta, rice, or with a side of crusty bread, garnished with fresh basil.
