  • 1 pound Fresh Green Beans Trimmed
  • 8 ounces Sliced Mushrooms Brown them well

For the Flavor

  • 4 slices Turkey Bacon Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced

For Cooking

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or Butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste

Optional Add-Ons

  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice For brightness
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese Grated

Preparation Steps

  • Blanch the green beans in salted boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then cool in an ice bath.
  • Cook turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Sauté mushrooms in the same skillet until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic to mushrooms and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Combine blanched green beans with mushrooms and garlic, cooking for another 4-5 minutes.
  • Add crispy turkey bacon, seasoning to taste and top with lemon juice or Parmesan cheese before serving.
