  • plastic wrap

Ingredients

Cheese Mixture

  • 2 blocks cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning

Decorations

  • 1.5 cups finely chopped pecans
  • 2 black olives for the eyes
  • 1 cherry tomato for the nose

Instructions

Preparation

  • In the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese and everything bagel seasoning until smooth and combined well.
  • Scrape down the sides of the bowl and remove cheese. Place the cheese on a sheet of plastic wrap and shape into a ball. Cover completely with plastic wrap.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • When ready, place the finely chopped pecans on a plate. Remove the cheeseball from plastic wrap and roll in chopped pecans to cover all sides.
  • Press black olives for eyes, a cherry tomato for the nose, and two pretzels on top for antlers.
  • Serve with crackers or veggie sticks.

Notes

This cheeseball is best served at room temperature, but not left out for more than 2 hours. Other cheese can be used, and flavored cream cheese works as well. If you don’t like everything bagel seasoning, garlic salt and pepper can be used instead.
