Ingredients
  

Pasta and Sauce

  • 454 g mezzi rigatoni 1 packet
  • 1 ½ cups sauce alfredo Stefano

Meat and Vegetables

  • 4 pieces Italian sausage Classic Stefano
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms cleaned and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped

Seasoning

  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Red pepper flakes if desired

Cooking Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, and cook the pasta until al dente.
  • Meanwhile, remove the sausage meat from the casings and cook in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart with a fork, until it begins to brown.
  • When the meat is browned, add olive oil, onion, and mushrooms. Cook until the vegetables soften and begin to brown. Add garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the white wine and simmer for a few minutes, until the liquid is reduced by half.
  • Stir in the Alfredo sauce and season with salt, pepper, and chili to taste.
  • Combine the sauce with the pasta and serve.

Notes

Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
