Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Wings

  • 2.5 pounds Chicken Wings Approximately 24 pieces
  • 0.25 cup Flour or Gluten-Free Flour
  • Sea Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • Olive Oil or Avocado Oil Spray

For the Sauce

  • 0.5 cup Honey
  • 0.33 cup Soy Sauce or Coconut Aminos
  • 4 cloves Garlic mashed
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon Tapioca Flour or Arrowroot Starch, or Corn Starch
  • 0.5 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes

For Garnishing

  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds optional

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425 F.
  • Dry off the chicken wings very well with a paper towel.
  • In a bowl, add the chicken wings to the flour, sea salt, and black pepper. Toss until fully coated.
  • Transfer the coated wings to a foil or parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  • Spray the wings with oil and bake them for 30 minutes, then flip and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  • Prepare the sauce by adding all sauce ingredients to a small saucepan and heat over medium for 6-7 minutes until thickened.
  • Turn on the broiler for 2 minutes to brown the wings, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  • Remove wings from the oven, pour the sauce on top, and coat using tongs or your hands.
  • Top with sesame seeds if desired, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure wings are dried thoroughly for maximum crispiness.
