Ingredients
  

For the Steak

  • 2 steaks Ribeye or Sirloin Around 1 inch thick for optimal tenderness
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Can substitute with vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Adds richness
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced, fresh garlic preferred

For the Potatoes

  • 1.5 pounds Baby Potatoes or Yukon Gold Halved for even cooking
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Can replace with fresh minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Rosemary Fresh rosemary can be used if available
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Herbs (thyme or rosemary) For garnish

Cooking Instructions

  • Halve the baby potatoes and toss them with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried rosemary in a mixing bowl.
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for about 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • While the potatoes are roasting, season your steaks with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  • Once the steaks are browned, remove them from the pan and let them rest for 5 minutes, then serve with garlic-infused potatoes.
