Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter melted

Filling

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup key lime juice freshly squeezed preferred
  • 3 egg yolks

Topping

  • 1 cup whipped cream for garnish
  • 1 lime lime slices for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparing the Crust

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from oven and let cool.

Making the Filling

  • In another bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and egg yolks until smooth.
  • Pour the filling into the cooled crust.
  • Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Serving

  • Top the pie with whipped cream and garnish with lime slices before serving.

Notes

Best served chilled. Can be made a day in advance for convenience.
