Ingredients
  

  • 1 round Brie cheese about 8 ounces
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce homemade or store-bought
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts optional
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 egg beaten egg for egg wash
  • crackers or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the round of Brie cheese on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, chopped nuts, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix until well combined.
  • Spread the cranberry mixture evenly over the top of the Brie.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut it to fit around the Brie. Wrap the pastry around the cheese, sealing the edges.
  • Brush the beaten egg over the pastry to give it a golden color when baked.
  • Place the Brie in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Transfer to a serving platter and pair with crackers or sliced baguette.
