Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound cubed chicken thighs 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup bourbon can substitute with apple cider
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a medium-sized skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and cubed chicken thighs, and cook until brown and no longer pink.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, and minced garlic cloves. Whisk together cornstarch and water and add to the sauce mixture.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens up. Serve over rice and garnish with sliced green onions if desired.

Notes

Can substitute bourbon with apple cider.
